Surf Pro Espinho 2019
World Surf League Longboard & Junior Tour. Praia da Baía, Espinho
This year, from April 5th to 14th, Espinho held the 6th Surf Pro Espinho with two World Surf League (WSL) events and the last stop of the regional surfing tour.
For it’s third year, Sectile has been responsible for filming and edit video content for the event, from teasers to daily highlights clips, from surf, gimbal and b-roll footage to interviews, providing this way several hours of imagery to feed both World Surf League and Espinho Surf Destination social media platforms and also supplying daily newsfeeds for television.
WSL Longboard Pro Espinho 2019
In rainy and stormy weather conditions our team covered Longboard Pro Espinho across it’s two days of action, with perfect conditions for the last day of competition. This edition crowned Edouard Delpero and Alice Lemoigne.
We’re passionate film photographers too and we had this idea floating in the back of our minds since last year.
After two challenging days filming great surfing we decided to give it a try and during the prize ceremony we did a fun (and extra serious) polaroid photo shoot with the finalists.

WSL Junior Pro Espinho 2019
With five days of competition, Junior Pro Espinho had an excellent third day of competition, with perfect weather and waves all day long. The third day also witnessed the only perfect 10 of the event by Afonso Antunes. Afonso surfed throughout the contest reaching the final that culminated with the victory of Justin Becret and Rachel Presti.
