Surf Pro Espinho 2018

March 2018, Espinho has yet again received the acclaimed Surf Pro Espinho with the official WSL junior surf competition. Junior Pro Espinho it’s an official calendar event from World Surf League (WSL), recognised world professional surf governing body.

For the first time the event Espinho Surf Destination integrated an official WSL longboard competition - Longboard Pro Espinho - an event that gathered the best longboarders in the world.

Longboard Pro Espinho took place on Praia da Baía Espinho with two days of action, with challenging conditions for the athletes and a lot of broken boards. The highlight video of the first day had more than 70 thousand views on Youtube official WSL channel, one of the highest viewed videos ever when it comes to Longboard competitions. The French Edouard Delpero and Justine Dupont conquered the first place of this 2018 edition.
